Gingerbread is A Finalist!

So after months of waiting (so long I actually forgot I entered in the first place) the Page Turner Awards has released their list of finalists.

And my girl Gingerbread is on it!

I haven’t shrieked so loud since I finally beat that nasty Hornet on Hollow Knight and this is easily a hundred times more wonderful. I have such a soft spot for my Gingerbread Girl and the ancient, fantasy world she lives in so I’m so excited and proud that other people see such potential in her. Her second adventure is still in the works, but in the meantime I’ve been exploring her world in a series of short stories inspired by prompts. “Cross-Roads Market” is the finished first and “The Haunting of Oster Keep” is almost ready for its polish as I brainstorm for the third, based on the prompt ‘book’.

So many possibilities there…

You can read my submission here on Page Turner’s official site, and if you want to read more after that, Gingerbread’s adventure is available in full on Amazon! Her cover will be getting a nice little upgrade soon, but in the meantime, look for the girl in red. 😉

Welcome to Albia!

A land of witches and curses, unicorns and magic. And one stubborn girl who protects humans from what they cannot see. By joining our mailing list, you will get updates of Gingerbread's adventures, including your own free copy of her first short story.

I don't sell emails. It's wrong. And I procratinate too much to flood your inbox. The fact I get things out on time at all is totally Gingerbread's prodding me along. :)

Success! Your story is on its way!
